Edward Carter is currently seeking an experienced SAP FICO Support Analyst for an exciting permanent opportunity based in Essex

Within the role you will be responsible for provide Level 2nd line support for applications under the remit of the Application Management Support Team:

Within the role you will be responsible for:

• Manage through to resolution incidents and service requests for all applications supported by the Application Management team.
• Provide a quality, reliable and timely support service delivering to the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve on-going technical issues.
• Provide support to the Project Managers during the development lifecycle of a project.
• Produce and maintain technical support guides, service catalogue & other relevant documentation.
• Perform daily, monthly and periodic application and system checks, and take appropriate action in optimising system uptime and deliver outputs in a timely manner.
• Work with Technology teams as necessary communicating any systems/software upgrades and patches, and diagnosing any application or system issues.
• Triage defects, identify potential fixes and manage incidents through to resolution, either by an internal team or via an external supplier; communicating with the business user until issue is resolved.
• Work with stakeholders and the Release Management team to ensure UAT and regression testing is complete for all new releases.
• Manage any changes to the applications through the Change Management process.
• Manage any release deployment activity.
• Monitor and reconciliation of interfaces inbound and outbound of the finance systems
• Master data maintenance including GLs, Profit Centres, Cost Centres, and Cost Objects.

For this exciting opportunity you will need:

• Experience in support the SAP FICO module
• Strong understanding of the key finance processes.
• Experience of working in a Service Desk environment
• Extensive use of SAP FI/CO including AP, AR, Fixed Assets, New GL, Profit Centre Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Cost Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Reporting.
• A good understanding of double entry bookkeeping, P&L, Balance Sheet and ability to perform reconciliations is essential.
